Ace your ride on Bike to Work Day! Pledge to ride, then swap a car trip for a ride on your bike in celebration of this annual event focused on reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality. John Wilkinson, a 41-year-old cyclist from Broomfield, tragically passed away after being struck in a hit-and-run crash in Boulder County on Sunday, May 18th, 2025. To honor his memory, we will hold a memorial gravel ride on June 8th at 9 a.m. The ride will start at the US 36 and East Flatiron Circle Park & Ride.

Magnus, a talented cyclist, was tragically taken from us when a driver crashed into the back of him. His story underscores the urgent need for better road safety measures. In his honor, an advocacy bike ride is scheduled for August 11th, 2024, with the purpose of promoting better laws and infrastructure to protect cyclists and vulnerable road users. The ride will be followed by a rally featuring guest speakers such as Jared Polis and Trek President John Burke, who will advocate for improved road safety measures and inspire us all to make a difference.
