The Plan That Shapes Every Ride in Broomfield Is Being Written Now. Here Is How to Shape It.

Here is the thing about cities. The ones worth living in don't happen by accident. Someone decided where the trails connect and where they dead end. Someone decided whether there's a protected lane or just a door zone and a prayer. That someone was the person who showed up.

Broomfield is updating its Comprehensive Plan and Transportation Mobility Plan right now, through a single process called Broomfield Together. That Transportation Mobility Plan is not a formality. It is the document that gets cited, funded, and consulted when decisions get made about how people move through this city for the next ten to twenty years. Bike infrastructure, trail connections, safe corridors for riders of every age. All of it lives in there.

And because both plans are being written right now, your input carries real weight. This is as good as it gets.

Take the survey at https://www.broomfieldtogethersurvey.org. Show up to an open house and tell them exactly what it feels like to ride in this city and what it could feel like if we got this right.

Three open houses are happening now:

  • June 17 at 6 p.m. at the Aloft Arista (8300 Arista Pl)

  • June 23 at 6 p.m. at Aspen Lodge at Anthem Ranch (16151 Lowell Blvd)

  • June 24 at 6 p.m. at the Broomfield Community Center (280 Spader Way)

RSVPs appreciated but not required. Your voice, however, is.
